Elise Jacoberger

Elise Jacoberger studied bassoon at the Basel Conservatory of Music and subsequently with Pascal Gallois at the Zürich University of the Arts with an emphasis on interpreting contemporary music. She regularly plays in various symphony and chamber orchestras in France, Germany and Switzerland and performs in renowned ensembles, such as Ensemble Intercontemporain (Paris), Ensemble MusikFabrik (Cologne), the Basel Sinfonietta, and Ensemble Proton (Bern). As an avid performer, she is no stranger to festivals and has appeared at MaerzMusik, Ultraschall, the Biennale di Venezia, the Darmstädter Ferienkursen and the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival to name a few. In addition, Elise Jacoberger has debuted works by composers such as Olga Neuwirth, Harrison Birtwistle, Arturo Kampela and Marc Sabat.
